The “Teluric” carpet made by Co Laboratory is a search for natural, local and authentic elements. With the Teluric Carpet Collection, Co Laboratory proposes a contemporary approach to this natural, affordable, easy-to-use, but ignored fabric in the design. Jute is grown for the fiber obtained from the plant stem and is used for making ropes or sackcloth.
Although locally produced, jute is not used too often on the local market. The Teluric carpet is made of various parts, proportioned, woven, woven in asymmetrical composition and rich textures. Teluric reminds us of the infinite possibilities open to a deeper look at local resources and production.
